A World Appears A Journey Into Consciousness. Design Reads.

When this new book popped up recently in a newsletter, we knew it was one that we needed to nab for the studio. 

A World Appears A Journey Into Consciousness, is a new release from author Michael Pollan. It takes a look at one of those mysterious things that we are all aware of, but very few people have any good way of describing what it really is - consciousness.

The book is his quest to story one of the greatest mystery in nature, looking at how it feels to be you with your own personal feelings, thoughts and experiences. 

Over the recent years, as the work of the studio has centred around brand transformation for organisations, we've had to get to grips with how to deal with all sorts of people which to be honest has been a lot more challenging than getting better at the creative stuff. As we've progressed on that journey we became fascinated with how people think & act - and how that all comes together within organisations to form one big melting pot of energy, opinions and actions - basically everything that forms the foundations of an organisation's brand.  

With all this interest in others, it has on occasion struck us how litle we probably know about how our minds actually work, and the ways we think and relate to the world. So we've been looking forward to this book being released.
