Gab 29. White Rabbit Books.

On Wed night we were treated to a very special evening of creative chat at Gab29 in Sloans Ballroom in Glasgow.

Lee Brackstone the head of White Rabbit Books joined us in conversation with Scottish author David Keenan - chatting about his varied career which included 23 years as a Creative Director at Faber & Faber and starting up his new imprint White Rabbit. Lee has been responsible for an amazing range of titles from the likes of Mark Lenegan, Beastie Boys, Kim Gordon, The KLF and Kate Bush and we were treated to some amazing stories and insights from throughout his career alongside a peek into the special relationship that exists between an author and editor and the value of creative relationships such as the one both David & Lee enjoyed with Andrew Weatherall.

We were also joined by Stu Thomson and Scott from CutMedia who took us through their amazing story of building one of Scotland's leading video content studios working with clients all over the word - some very inspiring work and their talk was excellent. The awesome Sharon Caddie also gave us an insight into her very successful side project Text From a Friend - proof that sometimes you just have to start something and you never know where it will take you.

A huge thanks go out to everyone who joined us, allowing us to raise money for Glasgow charity Refuweegee. Our next Gab event will be out 30th, so we'll need to get planning something special, however it will take a lot to top number 29!
