Gab32. Creative & Design Event.

Last week saw us out and about for the latest edition of Gab - our creative & design get together for folk in Glasgow.

We were treated to three great creative talks from Aberdour’s Where Giants Roam, Loom studio who joined us all the way from the Isle of Lewis & Manchester’s With Love Studio. Each of our speakers gave an open and honest insight into their creative practice - and we thank them very much for doing so.

We also had the pleasure of visiting a new venue for the very first time, taking over The Britannia Panopticon, the world’s oldest surviving music hall. Judith from the Panopticon Charity Trust was also on hand to give a little talk that offered a little peek in to the venue’s storied history. It was a total joy to get to have Gab in this amazing setting, and I think everyone attending enjoyed it as much as we did.

And a huge thanks has to go out to everyone who supported the event by grabbing a ticket. The event sold out within 30 mins of going on sale, and as always we are eternally grateful to all our our speakers and attendees without whom these events would not exist.

We’re hoping to be back for our next event pretty soon depending on whether we can snag the speaker we have in mind… more news (hopefully) soon.
