Hello 2026. Creative Diary.
Hello friends. We’re back in action in the studio today, ready to take on another year.
It’s been brilliant getting a couple of weeks off over the festive season and we have all returned full of beans (and also admittedly a fair bit of selection box chocolate) ready to get our minds switched back on for some creative challenges.
And without too much time to ease into things, we’re blasting straight back with a raft of new creative, design & brand projects to work on.
Jan is kicking off with a trip to some of Scotland’s most beautiful islands, as we kick off some work with CalMac Ferries. It’s a hugely exciting project that we’re working on and we can’t wait to share some more details as spring approaches.
Although dry Jan is very much in full swing with some of the studio team, we’ll be making an exception as we start planning a couple of campaign shoots for a new whisky client that has just landed in the studio.
In terms of resolutions, being more active always appears at the top of the list every year. Luckily we have a helping hand in that regard, as we kick off a new brand project in association with UK Sport this month which will see us working on an exciting new initiative.
We’re also back working with our friends at Glasgow Life, kicking off a new design project in support of the brand work we completed for them last year.
We’ll also be out and about doing some discovery work for a hotel group we’re working with, so there’s definitely enough good stuff on the go to make this the busiest start to the year we’re ever had in the studio. Happy days.
Gab will also be back in action at the end of this month, as we welcome London based video director Glenn Kitson to Glasgow for an evening of creative chat. We can’t wait.
Speaking of London, we’ve been doing more work down there over the last year so will be spending more time in the city over the next few months looking at a potential base to work from when we’re there.
Without wanting to wish our lives away, we're also starting to look forward to speaking at Offf later this year, the international festival of creativity in Barcelona. It's probably the wet and cold weather in Glasgow at the moment that's making us dream of sunnier times.
All in all, it’s a very good start to the year and we’re grateful to have so much excellent work to crack on with… and you never know what else might pop up as the month and year progresses. We’re looking forward to it all.
Happy new year… here’s to a great ’26.
