INTL Student Project. Creating With Emerging Designers.

Over the last week we've been out and about at the INTL Creative & Design festival in Glasgow, a highlight of the year for sure. And by far the best bit of the festival was the two day live project, where we got to work with 12 talented students & emerging designers, acting as mentors as they looked to create a new piece of work over an exciting (and intense) 48 hour period.

The excellent brief was set by Poppy Thaxter of The Brand Identity, who tasked the students with transforming a negative experience into something positive. The open and expansive challenge provided everyone with the opportunity to develop some really interesting and engaging designs - and the standard of the ideas & execution blew us away.

A special mention has to go to Maisie McKay from our group, who went on to win a well deserved 3rd place overall for her amazing animation and presentation.

Getting the chance to spend a few days out of the studio meeting emerging talent is always a joy filled experience for us all at Jamhot, and this year the standards were particurally high.

Thanks to the INTL crew for having us along, and we're looking forward to the next time the festival rolls into town.
