Jamhot at Birmingham Design Festival.

On Friday we enjoyed a little trip south to Birmingham Design Festival as we attended their first stand alone conference event in the impressive surroundings of Birmingham Rep Theatre. 

Over 800 curious minds gathered to hear talks from creative & design practitioners including Brian Collins, Gemma O'Brien & Oliver Jeffers. Our favourite talk came from Sonal Jhuj, the Global Brand Head for Lego - who spoke about the importance of play within creativity. 

It was good to catch up with some familiar faces at the event and meet some nice new folk. A huge congratulations must go to Luke & Dan and their amazing team of volunteers who all work tirelessly (and without any payment) to bring these excellent events to life. It was a great event, and although it was our first visit to Birmingham it won't be our last.
