Jamhot Featured on Design Week.
We were happy to get involved with the latest Design Week feature, where 10 studios were asked what one thing they would change about the design industry if they could.
Our answer was simple... all about the requests for studios to give their design & ideas away free of charge at pitch stage

Free pitching. Hands down. While our industry debates AI and the value of ideas and creativity, at the same time some studios still seem to be giving their ideas and designs away free at pitch stage.
Fundamentally, I believe that if our industry itself doesn’t value ideas and creativity then we’re fighting a losing battle trying to get anyone else to value them.
We need to do better and demand that clients do better too. But it starts and ends with us. We need to unite as an industry, value what we do, and

It's a subject that has come up quite a lot in the studio recently, with a few requests for creative pitches coming our way, and we have heard from other studios that we know that they have also heard of more instances of it happening. Our friend David from O Street wrote a great Linkedin post about the subject last week, and we might post up a wee Creative Diary entry to the Jamhot website soon about it too.
