Mar '26. Creative Diary.
March is over, and what a month that was.
It actally felt like a whole year jam packed into 31 days!
We kicked it off with a three day photoshoot for a whisky release, one that involved the construction of a bar setting with our photography friend Susan Castillo and the set building genius Darren Wilson. We'll be launching that work to the world pretty soon.
A couple of days later we were back in the studio, this time working with another whisky brand on some tasty shots with Joe Connolly. A few days after that saw us in the capable hands of another photographer friend Reuben Paris for a shoot with The Digital Office for Scottish Local Govenrment - and on the same day we had a shoot with the talented Eoin Carey for another whisky brand.
But that was nothing compared to the largest video shoot we've been involved with to date. A week long visit to North Uist, South Uist, Benbecula, Lewis & Harris with a 12 strong crew to shoot for a campaign - including our talented friends Pretend Lovers and Ross Baynham.
We leaned a lot, especially about the tricky parts of music licensing contracts and the unpredictability of the good old Scottish weather, but we returned with a fist full of amazing footage ready to wrangle into shape with our pals Pete & Cal from SRCHPRTY in London. More on this one later this year.
March also saw the finalisation of a nice coffee project we've been working on, and it was great to see that coming to life. In between all of the work, we also found a little time to get out and about to watch a new season performance at Tron Theatre. Thanks a lot to Jane & Danielle for having us.
April looks like being another busy one in the studio, with some new clients being welcomed for projects that kick off pretty soon - and we're looking foward to visiting sunny Barcelona for the amazing Offf festival of design & creativity mid month where we're honoured (and scared) to be giving a talk.
But before we get into all that, time for a couple of days rest and some well deserved Easter Eggs.
