New Studio Book Arrivals. Design Reads.

As any regular readers of our studio updates will have noticed (not sure we have any such readers, but in case we do... hello and thank you) we do like a new book arrival to pop into the Jamhot library. 

We've had two such arrivals this week, both absolute belters. 

First up is a book we read years ago, and just got re-introduced to. The excellent Consider This by writer Chuck Palahniuk, which gives an insight into his writing career with nice bits of learnings & inspiration he has picked up along the way. It's brilliantly written (as you would expect of course) and as fans of his film Fight Club we fired right into this. 

The second book to arrive this week was a recommendation from our friend, designer Brian Collins. Non Linear by Kevin Belthune explores what it means to navigate design with curiosity and conviction, looking at the value to be gained from rejecting well trodden paths by taking advantage of a non linear approach. 

Two great titles to get the creative juices flowing in January. Praise be.
