We've had some nice new books arrive in the studio over the last month, and this was one that caught our interest.
Not a Playbook, expertly written by strategist Andreas Tzortzis and Founder Damian Bradfield, charts the success of WeTransfer in building a brand through a deep appreciate of and association with creativity and creative people.
It's a really interesting look at what is quite a simple but rare strategy - committing to one main thing and then seeing that through in all aspects of what you do. Not only did this open up a lot of interesting doors for the brand, it also ensured that they had to say no to a lot of things in order to stick to their one main thing. Something that not a lot of brands manage to do, but I guess that's why it can really work when you go all the way.
We enjoyed this brand strategy book a lot, and managed to grab a zoom call with Andreas over in Amsterdam to say hello. It was a great call and so good to hear more about the person behind this great publication.
