Serving 5. The Mick Cooke Lunch Club Society.

It's been a busy week in the studio, with some tasty design treats on the go, so we were happy to have a little mid week creative break as The Mick Cooke Lunch Club Society sprung into action with some very special guests.
Our pal Drew enjoyed the lunch club so much that he returned, on the final day of the school holidays, and brought Bruce & Isla as they were in Glasgow to see if they could see some of the Spider-Man filming action.
It was a very cheery lunch. Our guests all had tasty looking poke bowls from AKIKO, we were quite jealous of them. Craig munched a sandwich from Pret (he can't remember what one), Graeme had some sort of chicken wrap which was decent. Jamie did not have any food at the lunch, but later on that afternoon he tucked into a home made chicken salad.
As it was a last min lunch visit, regrettably there was no juice of the day or crisps. Apologies were offered. However our guests saved the day by bringing up some Cornetto ice creams, most welcome in the 30 degree heat.
The lively chat saw us cover such topics as Spider-Man (of course), the magic of Disneyland, singing & performing arts (thank you Isla for singing us a nice song), crisps, classic films (including a long forgotten Bill Murray film - The Man Who Knew Too Little) and thoughts on returning to school.
We couldn't have asked for a better way to spend an hour on a sunny Wednesday afternoon, with Bruce & Isla adding their own rays of light into the studio. Good people.
Until next time (Friday), when we will lunch again.
